Influenza

The day after Christmas Seth woke up with a fever. He spent that whole day sleeping. The next day Caleb, Everett and I fell ill.  And the next day Scott came down with it as well. Seth and Everett seemed to get over it pretty quickly and Claire never had any symptoms. Scott, Caleb and I though had fever, chills, body aches, sore throat, coughing and congestion. I was pretty sure it had to be the Flu cuz it was so bad. Caleb was really struggling with it so when Hailey had a fever I worried for her and decided to take her in to see if we could get her on Tamiflu. Well, it was New Year's Eve and all the offices were closed and with her fever and her being so little, they told me to take her to the ER. Fun... another ER trip for one of our kids. I still felt miserable and had to wear a mask but I brought her in and they tested her. She tested positive for Influenza type B.  Because of the flu, we spent our whole New Year's holiday watching movies and sleeping. And the kids spent their whole Christmas break quarantined at home. :P Not fun, but we got better. :)
