Independence Day

With an upcoming vacation to plan and since Scott couldn't take more days off from work, our Fourth of July was pretty laid back. Scott brought home some donuts for breakfast. I love seeing these two kids together. Claire loves to share with Everett. It's pretty cute, but I have to watch what she gives him... she's occasionally given him things that he shouldn't be having yet, like part of her peanut butter and honey sandwich and a fruit snack.  

 Later that evening we took the kids out front and lit some sparklers. They both seemed to enjoy that. And in case you were wondering, my kids do wear more than their pajamas, but we had already gotten them ready for bed (and Claire likes to pick out her own pajamas now which is why they are a little mismatched). :)

He really wanted to touch the sparklers. :)
