i always dreamed the world would know my name...

...now it does. my world can say "dad".

that and a host of other words. our beautiful girl is finally becoming a little talker. we've decided her first word was "up", which she uses whenever she feels she needs to be picked up, which is often. her vocabulary also includes such classics as "mom" (though amber doesn't feel claire really understands what she's saying), "yeah", "no" (which scares us), "hot", "eye", "nose", "uh oh", "whoa" (one of my favorites), and her newest one, "treat". our "world" is getting so big.
