December C's

For December, since it was a busy month with family and holidays and everything, my Create was simple. I made our 2011 ornament. I was looking for a little 2x2 block of wood to make it, but I couldn't find one that size that didn't require us cutting it. So while searching for a block of wood I found a little 2x2 rubix cube that I decided to use instead. I took off the stickers and mod podged the pictures on and well, here it is. I like how it turned out. :)

For my Cook I decided to make this crockpot Christmas breakfast recipe. I figured if it turned out good it could be our traditional Christmas breakfast since it cooks all night and it would be a nice easy warm breakfast in the morning. I think it turned out okay, but it wasn't my favorite, so I don't know if we'll try it again... oh well. :)

With so many family visiting, I had a few opportunities to take pictures. Nobody wanted to go outside for pictures though, so I had to find places to take pictures inside... I used the Tanner Building at BYU, I need to find new inside locations though I think cuz it wasn't the best place for family group photos. :)

I really did learn so much this year working on my C's and I'm so glad I decided to blog about them because it kept me going. There were so many projects and things that I wanted to try and do and photo things I wanted to learn and I actually did a few of them this year. It's been great and I'm grateful for the encouragement I got from family and friends too because it also kept me going. This next year I probably won't do my monthly blogs about them anymore, but I do want to continue making new things and taking photos and learning more. I have new resolutions to work on this new year though... #1 on my list is meal planning and eating better... anyone have tips for me on that? :) Happy New Year!

  2. If you don't want to do monthly posts maybe you could just blog about them when you do them...
