Hailey and Claire were the spotlights for my pink month. :) I took a lot of photos of flowers from the pink blossom tree in our neighbors yard but they just don't mean as much to me so I didn't include them in my grid this month. Sometimes I take so many pink photos I have a hard time narrowing down the ones that I love the most. This was one of those months. I also tried to only include one from each photoshoot moment so I get more of a variety of photos cuz the egg photo doesn't mean much to me, but I did like it the most out of all the egg photos I took. And there were several photos of Hailey's lips that I love, but I just chose my favorite. :P

6 Months - Hailey
1. Our baby girl is already 6 months old - time is flying!
2. She weighs 16 pounds, 15 and a half ounces, and is in the 67th percentile.
3. Hailey is 26 inches and in the 55th percentile. :)
4. Hailey is getting so much more smiley and talkative. I love when she starts talking her gibberish baby language. She's so calm and talks to me like I know what she's saying. :) And she has this really cute shy smile, when she's looking at someone and then turns her head into me with a huge grin on her face - like she's trying to hide it. :)
5. She still doesn't nap or sleep well unless she's being held by me. I've tried a little bit of sleep training and letting her cry it out in small increments. She seems to start getting it and sleeping, but then she'll get sick or something which messes it all up. I've tried nursing her until she's almost asleep and then laying her down, and I've tried swaddling her awake, nursing her, and then laying her down. I've tried it all, but she just loves to be held. And she sleeps right next to me at night still, which I'm good with, I just need her to fall asleep earlier without me so I have a little alone time with daddy. :p
6. Hailey is pretty mobile. She is rolling both ways all over the place. She continues to do her unique back arch move which pushes her towards where she wants to go on her head. :) She's even starting to scoot a tiny bit. It's still kind of a side roll and then forward roll back, but it's a scoot. She's sitting a little on her own, but I just started trying to get her to sit up so she hasn't had a ton of practice. She sits pretty well for a couple seconds though before falling over.
7. She tends to smack us around a bit. She just waves her arm around over and over and hits us playfully. She'll grab at our faces and my hair. Of course everything she grabs into her fingers always goes directly to her mouth, like my hair. :)
8. I started introducing a few foods to her at 5 and a half months. She started with bananas, then apples, then carrots. I think she liked the apples the best. But after getting shots earlier this week and having to take medicine, she doesn't like being fed at all lately. :p
9. She is still very much a momma's girl. She enjoys watching others and smiling from the safety of momma's arms. I hand her off to others occasionally and depending on who it is, she's okay for a little bit, but her eyes goes straight to me and she stares me down like telling me with her eyes that I better come take her before she starts screaming. :p It feels good being loved and I hope that as she grows and leaves my side more and more, she'll continue to want to come back to me. :)
10. She now has spent a sixth of her life stuck at home during a pandemic and only being with our family. She already had a little stranger danger, so I'm wondering if this quarantine time will cause more anxiety when she finally is around others... Seth still smothers her with kisses and hugs and loves to crawl on top of her when she's rolling around on the ground. She handles it okay, but I can tell when she gets tired of him. She does love his attention though. She also loves to smile at Caleb and Everett and Claire. Everett and Claire just smile at her in return. Caleb is getting better. He's either jealous or saying how cute she is. The other day he even said he loved Hailey, so he's definitely getting better. He does need his cuddles from mommy too though, and when I'm busy with Hailey he gets upset, but he's getting upset less and less. :) We love our 6 month baby girl!

A Cold and Windy Egg Hunt
We've always try to get in an egg hunt around Easter. We tried doing it for FHE this year on Monday, but it was freezing and windy. Kids still enjoyed themselves though. Scott hid all the eggs before dinner and we went out right after dinner before it got even colder. They were done after one hunt though when usually they like to take turns hiding and finding the plastic eggs. :)

Easter 2020
Our first Easter and hopefully only Easter spent quarantined at home. :P We had to order our Easter clothes and candy for our Easter baskets all online this year. The kids still enjoyed their baskets of candy in the morning. :)
We cleaned up and dressed for sacrament meeting. We really enjoyed our sacrament meeting spent together with our family living upstairs. We sang songs, took the sacrament and watched videos from our leaders sharing messages of Christ.
After church, we attempted to take our traditional Easter day family photo. It was super windy and freezing though, so it was a very quick set up, snap a photo, and back to the car to get warm. :P
Hailey and daddy were wiped out. She fell asleep in his arms for one of the first times ever.

Spring Break
Being stuck at home for Spring Break wasn't too bad. We tried to come up with a couple things to make it feel more like a Break. We mostly just played outside cuz it was warm most of the week. Scott's brother Ken and his family wanted to do something for us and offered to rent a bounce house for the kids for one of the days. He picked it up, Scott and him set it up and the kids played in it all day. Their cousins from upstairs joined them. Caleb was scared of it. :p They only took a break for dinner but were back outside playing until bedtime. :)
Scott organized the sidewalk chalk art project. The kids got really excited about and it turned out really cool. :)

#CCC_Torquoise
This is one of my favorite colors so I had a turquoise blanket that I utilized a lot. :) I also took out my new studio light and backdrops this month to play with and I like how it added a lot of white and turquoise to my grid. The macro sequins were from Claire's backpack. And I just had to add the hand sanitizer into a photo since it had turquoise on it and it was very fitting for this month being quarantined because of Covid-19. :P
This grid also got featured on the Color Chase Challenge Instagram page! They said "I love all of the faces in this grid, so adorable!"
